Consulting Services

The Rozovsky Group offers consulting services to healthcare organizations of all sizes, from freestanding physician practices to large multi-facility systems.

We specialize in providing responsive telephone and email support – and offer both onsite and online assessments. We are frequently asked to provide education as a follow-up to our findings.

Policy and Procedure Review or Development

  • Develop or review policies and procedures or supporting materials.
  • Harmonizing existing policies and procedures following a merger or acquisition.
  • Policy and procedure reviews as part of onsite or online comprehensive assessments.

Custom Whitepapers and Manuals

  • Custom-branded versions of our newsletters and whitepapers using client’s own typeset or logos.
  • Research and authorship of proprietary whitepapers.
  • Developing client-specific manuals.
  • Provide content for client newsletters for use in a client’s internal or external communications.

Evidentiary Protections

When we engage in a consult we work with the client to determine the scope of engagement, fees and the best means to preserve evidentiary protections.

Consulting Process

Following a letter of agreement, we conduct our consult in a series of stages based upon the client’s needs and schedule:

  • Determine documents for review and use of courier or secure electronic dropbox for submission.
  • Pre-travel telephone interviews with key stakeholders.
  • Provide a secure online assessment software that we use to plan further reviews or the onsite engagement.
For onsite consults we further
  • Develop an onsite assessment plan.
  • Conduct “risk management walk-arounds” with risk management or other senior staff during which we note processes that are good, or could be improved.
  • Informal interviews with front-line personnel during the walk-around.
  • Conduct interviews onsite with key stakeholders.

Our report can be initially furnished as a draft or final copy.

Combined Consulting and Education

In many cases we combine the consult with on-site education focused on previously-identified areas of concern, or on any topic requested by the client. Education can alternatively be provided online through webinars, audio seminars, or video-podcast formats.

  • Clinical staff education or seminars coordinated with the risk management rounds and consulting interviews.
  • Educational programming designed specifically for the “C-suite” and boards.
Topics can include
  • Consent communication.
  • Informed refusal of Consent.
  • social media.
  • Mobile device utilization.
  • ACOs.
  • Physical and Electronic Security.
  • Emergency and disaster preparedness.
