Joshua Rozovsky holds a Masters of Science in National Security and Public Safety from the University of New Haven with a concentration in Information Protection and Security. A graduate of the ASHRM Barton Certificate in healthcare risk management, he holds multiple computer certifications and telecommunications licenses including:

  1. A+, Network+, RFID+ certifications, Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA)
  2. FCC-licensed commercial radio operator and maintainer for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) with ship radar endorsement
  3. FCC-licensed Amateur Radio Operator, Extra-class
  4. Certified Level 1 thermographer (thermal imaging technology)
  5. Certified Emergency Medical Technician (Basic) in Connecticut, and an active EMS volunteer.

Joshua has also volunteered as has his town’s Emergency Coordinator for Amateur Radio Emergency Services. As a consultant, Joshua takes an enterprise risk management approach to technology risk. He has co-authored contributions to Healthcare Organizations Risk Management (ASPEN 2009) and the Enterprise Risk Management Handbook for Healthcare Entities (AHLA 2009).

Joshua Rozovsky and the Rozovsky Group also offer consulting services concerning risks associated with technology in healthcare organizations. Sample work experience includes:

  • Researching proper infection control and sterilization for endoscopy equipment.
  • Reducing risks associated with radio-frequency identification technology (RFID).
